Lori has been a member of Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador in good standing since June 2009 and has extensive experience in criminal trial practice both as a prosecutor and as a criminal defence lawyer. She worked as a Crown Attorney for more than 12 years with Public Prosecutions in Corner Brook and in 2021 Lori began practicing criminal defence as a Staff Solicitor with Legal Aid NL. She has appeared in the Provincial and Supreme Courts on criminal matters in jurisdictions across Newfoundland and Labrador. Lori’s practice area is primarily criminal defence matters, but she also intends to expand her practice into civil litigation matters.

Lori was born and raised in Western Labrador, but now considers Western Newfoundland home. She is an active outdoorsperson, always looking for ways to see more of Newfoundland and Labrador, whether it be on foot, bicycle, skis, or water. She also considers herself an incredibly amateur home gardener and farmer.
